Random joke - Just for fun

  • A blonde goes to the doctor with burns on both of her ears and her right hand. "Sit down and tell me how it happened," says the doctor. "I was ironing my clothes when I received a call. Instead of picking up the phone, I picked up the iron and burned my ear." "'What about the other ear and your hand?" the doctor asked. She replied, "I tried to call for an ambulance."

I don't know if that thing about eating the dessert before the dinner itself is some what widespreaded, but that person who once said: You never know how long you live, did have some great points related to desserts. You could after all risk not getting the best part of the meal downstairs. Because of that I do choose to conclude that statement with always eating dessert before dinner. :-P

Did you know, the word dessert originated from the French word desservir, which means to clear the table (for other dishes)? And yet another one which actually was new to me, in United Kingdom they don't use the word dessert, they do actually use pudding. Funny thing about that, the word pudding is believed to come from the French boudin, originally from the Latin botellus, meaning "small sausage". Now, I do start to wonder what kind of desserts (or puddings) these great guys in United Kingdom actually manage to make with that being the mening of their pudding.
